How It Works
Your first visit is a 90-minute clinical assessment where I evaluate your movement patterns, medical history, and compensation chains as both a Licensed Massage Therapist and Registered Nurse. Then we get to work with hands-on treatment in that same session.
From there, we choose the track that fits what you're dealing with and map out your treatment schedule:

Chronic Pain & Structural Recovery
For conditions such as: scoliosis, herniated and bulging discs, sciatica, frozen shoulder and rotator cuff injury, TMJ, and tension headaches. This is where the RN training does the most work — reading nerve involvement and inflammatory patterns, not just chasing the sore spot.
Post-Surgical Recovery
For clients recovering from joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, and other surgical procedures. Sessions are built around where you are in recovery, in coordination with what your surgeon and PT have you doing.
Athletic Performance & Training Recovery
For endurance athletes, IRONMAN training, weekend warriors, and the recurring overuse injuries that come with pushing your body hard.
Maintenance & Tune-Up
For established clients who just want to stay ahead of pain instead of catching up to it.
For all tracks, pricing is by session length — see Rates & Services for more detailed information.
Why my RN Hands Are Different
I don't just work the muscle that hurts — I'm reading your whole system: nerve involvement, inflammatory patterns, the compensation chains that got you here in the first place. That's what a Registered Nurse's training adds to massage therapy. More about my background

What Clients Say
"I saw three other massage therapists in two weeks before Grace. She was the first one whose work actually held." — Star T, living with scoliosis

Quick Answers
Does massage help with scoliosis pain? Yes, targeted soft tissue work can reduce the compensation-pattern pain that comes with scoliosis, though it works alongside (not instead of) your medical care.
What's different about a massage from an RN versus a typical massage therapist? An RN's training in anatomy, pathology, and clinical assessment means your session is informed by a fuller picture of what's driving your pain — nerve involvement, inflammatory patterns, compensation chains — not just the muscle that hurts.
Do I need a referral for post-surgical massage? Not required, but I can coordinate with your surgeon or PT's guidance so your sessions fit your recovery timeline.
How much does a session cost? $100–$200 depending on session length. Full pricing is on the Rates & Services page.
